Get ready to swing for a great cause at the annual "Hudson Valley Hope Scramble," taking place on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the breathtaking Highlands Golf & Country Club in scenic Rhinebeck, New York. Registration and a light brunch will begin at 10:00 AM, with a shotgun start for our 18-hole scramble promptly at 11:30 AM. This year, all proceeds will benefit the "Valley Reads Initiative," a local program dedicated to improving literacy rates among underserved children throughout the Hudson Valley, providing books and tutoring services to those most in need.
Golfers will enjoy a spectacular day on the meticulously maintained championship course, renowned for its challenging layout and stunning views of the Catskill Mountains. The day's play will feature exciting on-course contests, including longest drive, closest-to-the-pin, and a hole-in-one challenge with a fantastic prize. Beverage carts will circulate throughout the afternoon, ensuring everyone stays refreshed. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a casual player, the scramble format ensures a fun and engaging experience for all skill levels.
Following the golf, beginning around 5:30 PM on July 18th, participants will gather in the club's elegant ballroom for a delightful dinner, awards ceremony, and a silent auction brimming with unique items and experiences donated by generous local businesses. It's a perfect opportunity to network, celebrate a day of friendly competition, and most importantly, contribute further to the vital work of the Valley Reads Initiative. We anticipate wrapping up the evening's festivities by 8:00 PM.
