Helmets to Hardhats was launched nationally in 2003 to assist Post-9/11 Veterans with careers in the Unionized Construction Industry. Helmets to Hardhats has proudly served New York Veterans since 2003, becoming New York Helmets to Hardhats, Inc. in 2013 - founded by NYC Building Trades President Gary LaBarbera and the NYC Building Trades Executive Board.
To date, NYH2H has placed over 3,200 Veterans into Union Construction Careers.
