Dear Friend of the NYSPI Foundation,
Please mark your calendar for September 13, 2024. You are cordially invited to the eighth annual 9/11 NYC Memorial Cruise, honoring the heroism of first responders and memorializing the loss of those who perished on September 11, 2001.
New Yorkers are known for their resilience, but even the toughest among us reach a point of exhaustion.
In a world where no one can navigate life's challenges alone, our emergency services are funded by the government for their day-to-day operations. However, there exists an aftermath—a cost that few see and is not covered in departmental budgets. This cost includes those injured in catastrophe, the families of those killed in the line of duty, and first responders who themselves become victims in the chaos they seek to mitigate.
NYSPI Foundation recognizes the tremendous toll that responding to crises exacts on individuals and commu-nities. That's why we are hosting an event to remember and renew our commitment to supporting each other and our communities.
Today, we reach out to you with a heartfelt plea to join us in supporting the victims and families affected by the events of 9/11, in honor of all of our fallen members. Their selfless sacrifice and unwavering bravery serve as a reminder of the courage displayed by first responders and ordinary citizens alike in the face of unimaginable adversity. Let us stand together in solidarity, ensuring that their memories endure, and their legacies continue to inspire. We believe in the importance of solidarity and mutual support, especially during times of crisis. By coming together, we can ensure that no one faces the aftermath of disaster alone.
Your support is crucial in helping us provide assistance to those in need, whether it's through medical care, counseling services, or financial aid for affected families.
Your participation in the 8th annual 9/11 NYC Memorial Cruise and your generous contribution to our fundraising efforts will make a tangible difference in the lives of those touched by this tragedy. Together, we can honor the memory of the fallen and ensure their legacy continues to inspire future generations."
