From the office of Thomas Quackenbush:
I hope this message finds you well. Your philanthropy in the past has helped many people and, in some cases, has changed their lives. I applaud you for your past support and I look forward to our continued partnership. True success in life is helping others and not ourselves!
I have been an avid runner for many years and participated in many marathons. Many of my races have been dedicated to raising funds for charity.
Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and Team in Training Leukemia Lymphoma Society, just to name a few.
This year, I am excited to participate in the 2025 St. Jude Rock 'n Roll Nashville Marathon on April 26, and I am reaching out to seek your support for a cause that is very close to my heart.
As I work towards achieving a personal milestone of completing the 26.2-mile race after turning 60, I am raising funds to support Local 294 Teamsters Care, our non-profit organization dedicated to assisting our members and their families, as well as the wider community. Funds raised for this event will also support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. To quote Danny Thomas, the founder of this life saving research facility, "Success has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others." And he was also quoted as saying "There are two types of people in this world, the Givers and the Takers. The Takers sometimes eat better, but the Givers always sleep better."
These organizations provide life-changing programs and services, and your sponsorship will make a meaningful impact on their ability to continue this important work. I am offering three sponsorship levels, which provide an opportunity for your organization to support this effort:
Platinum Sponsor - $5,000
Gold Sponsor - $2,500
Silver Sponsor - $1,000
Your generosity will be acknowledged in all communications related to this campaign, including on social media and within the Local 294 Teamsters Care community and other Teamster related events Please reach out to the office 518-489-5436 for donations.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our community.
Sincerely,
Thomas L Quackenbush, President
Teamsters Local 294
