Running for a Cause: Local 3’s Own Artie Neri Takes on the NYC Marathon

We’re proud to cheer on Artie Neri, Corresponding Secretary of the Local 3 Veterans Club, as he once again takes on the TCS New York City Marathon on November 2, 2025 — running with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).
A U.S. Army Veteran, Shriner, and proud Local 3 member, Artie is lacing up for his second year with Fred’s Team to raise funds for groundbreaking cancer research. Every dollar he raises goes directly into MSK’s labs, helping doctors and scientists continue their life-saving work across more than 400 types of cancer.
Artie’s dedication to service—on and off the job—reflects the true spirit of our union brotherhood. Let’s show our support and help him reach his goal!
