The 2026 Tradeswomen Build Nations (TWBN) Conference—the largest annual gathering of unionized tradeswomen in the world—will take place October 9–11, 2026, in Houston, Texas. This landmark event brings together thousands of tradeswomen from across North America for three powerful days of education, advocacy, and solidarity.

Presented by TradesFutures, with continued leadership and sponsorship from North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU), TWBN is the premier forum for advancing women in the skilled trades.

What to Expect

TWBN attracts tradeswomen representing a wide range of crafts, including pipefitters, electricians, carpenters, ironworkers, and more. The conference experience includes:

  • Workshops & Plenary Sessions

Dynamic programming focused on leadership development, mentorship, and workplace health and safety.

  • Advocacy & Action

Meaningful conversations and strategies to strengthen the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women in the construction industry.

  • Solidarity Events

The iconic Banner Parade, a signature TWBN tradition celebrating unity, strength, and the growing impact of women in the trades.
