About Us
Welcome to the ULA Network
ULA Network is a labor-centered platform dedicated to supporting, educating, and promoting the union community. Through trusted content, strategic partnerships, and targeted outreach, we connect union members, labor leaders, apprentices, and organizations working to strengthen the trades. Our mission is to deliver meaningful information, highlight important initiatives, and create opportunities that empower the workforce, foster professional growth, and advance the future of organized labor.
Why the ULA Network Was Created
The ULA Network was founded to give union labor a stronger voice. Across the country, union members build infrastructure, educate, protect communities, and keep essential services running—yet many of their stories and career pathways go unseen.
Michael V. Fina created the Network to highlight these contributions, showcase apprenticeship and skilled trades opportunities, and inspire the next generation. Through storytelling, educational media, and interviews with members, leaders, and veterans, the ULA Network celebrates the people shaping our communities and strengthens awareness of careers in union labor.
At its heart, the mission is to support, educate, and promote—helping skilled workers, families, and communities thrive while honoring the impact of organized labor every day.

Our Three Pillars of Impact
SUPPORT.
Connecting the labor community with the tools, partners, and visibility that strengthen union work.
We connect organizations and partners with a trusted and verified audience within the union and labor community. Through the ULA Network, partners can share products, services, and solutions that support the trades while gaining strategic visibility through credible, labor-focused storytelling. We highlight initiatives, programs, and successes across the industry, helping strengthen collaboration and meaningful engagement among union members, leaders, and organizations.
EDUCATE.
Delivering trusted information that empowers union members and leaders.
The ULA Network provides reliable news, insights, and updates that keep union workers informed about the issues shaping the labor movement, benefit funds, and the industries they power. We share resources and guidance that support career growth, industry awareness, and stronger leadership across unions. By highlighting information on programs, benefits, and governance practices, members stay informed, engaged, and connected with the broader labor community.
PROMOTE.
Elevating opportunities that build the future of the union workforce.
Union-led programs, apprenticeship pathways, and workforce development initiatives gain greater visibility through the ULA Network. We help showcase training opportunities, milestones, and achievements that highlight the strength of union education and skill-building. By expanding reach across the labor community, the platform connects these opportunities with prospective apprentices and future union workers exploring careers in the trades.

Our Work in Action
The ULA Network Foundation
Through the ULA Network Foundation, our commitment to supporting union workers and veterans extends directly into the community. The foundation mobilizes skilled union labor to complete service projects that provide meaningful support and lasting impact. Veteran union members, apprentices, and skilled tradespeople come together to complete service projects that support veterans and strengthen local communities. Through initiatives like the Helmets to Hardhats program, union workers volunteer their expertise to repair VFW and American Legion posts and assist with minor repairs in veterans’ homes.
