Anthony Abrantes as Strategic Board Advisor

The Union Labor Advisory Network Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Anthony Abrantes as a Strategic Board Advisor, further strengthening the Foundation’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities, workforce development, and union-focused economic development initiatives across the United States.

Anthony serves as the Assistant Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (EASRCC), representing approximately 43,000 union carpenters across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Throughout his distinguished career, he has been a champion for registered apprenticeships, workforce training, labor-management partnerships, and community development.

In his role as Strategic Board Advisor, Anthony will help guide the Foundation’s long-term vision by supporting initiatives that connect students, veterans, career changers, educators, labor organizations, employers, and community partners with meaningful pathways into the unionized building and construction trades.

“Anthony’s leadership, experience, and unwavering commitment to organized labor and workforce development make him an invaluable addition to our advisory board,” said Michael V. Anthony’s expertise spans workforce development, public policy, education, strategic planning, and labor leadership. His service on numerous educational, workforce, and public boards reflects a lifelong commitment to creating opportunities that strengthen working families and communities.
